Set against the backdrop of modern-day Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, "TREPIDATION" tells the chilling tale of a young mother haunted by inexplicable nightmares after visiting an abandoned family property. As she embarks on a quest for answers, she uncovers a terrifying truth that her family has concealed for decades. With spine-tingling suspense and riveting performances, this film promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.


Usendiah's masterful storytelling, combined with breathtaking cinematography, transports viewers into a world where the line between reality and imagination blurs. The film has already garnered notable recognitions at various film festivals including an Official Selection at the 2023 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF), among others. 


Starring Nollywood sweetheart Theresa Edem-Isemin (known for ‘Ayamma’, ‘My Village People’, and ‘The Olive’) in the lead role, alongside acclaimed Nollywood actors Preach Bassey (Africa Magic's 'The Covenant'), Tersy Akpata (Showmax's 'Wura'), and Aniebet Francis (‘The Final List’), in supporting roles, "TREPIDATION" boasts a talented ensemble cast that brings the story to life with remarkable depth and intensity.
