Meet the three powerhouse leaders behind the company’s success:
Anita Edwards – Co-founder & CEO

With over a decade of experience in Nigeria’s film, television, and business sectors, Anita Edwards is a force in film distribution and production. She began her career as an editing intern at African Broadcasting Network (ABN) in Warri, Delta State, before going on to produce multiple film and television projects. Her journey in film distribution took off in 2019 when she became the Head of Distribution at Lexanton Nigeria Limited. In 2020, she founded The World Stage Distribution, a content distribution company that rapidly expanded into six African countries and the United States. In 2023, Anita co-founded Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution, assuming the role of CEO. Under her leadership, the company has grown its service reach to 11 African countries, setting a new standard for theatrical distribution across West Africa.
Lillian Amah-Aluko – Co-founder & Director

With an impressive career spanning both corporate and creative industries, Lillian Amah-Aluko brings a wealth of experience to Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution. She holds a certificate in Film and TV Production from UCLA, alongside Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from the University of Lagos. Before fully transitioning into entertainment, she worked for 15 years in the private sector, including a tenure as Acting Head of Private Banking at Fidelity Bank PLC until 2005. A passionate advocate for the Nigerian film industry, Lillian is an actor, producer, and writer as well as a member of key industry bodies, including AMP, AGN, NANTAP, and AVRS. In 2023, she co-founded Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution, bringing her wealth of expertise and passion to the company’s strategic direction.
Helene Chike – Head, Digital & Ancillary Distribution

A seasoned entertainment professional, Helene Chike has spent over 20 years in the industry, building expertise in business administration, communications, and photography. She holds a Professional Diploma in Library and Information Science from Ahmadu Bello University, alongside various certifications in arts and business. Her passion for education and the arts led her to instruct at Entertainment Busstop Limited through her initiative, Young Edutainment Initiative (YETI). As a member of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, she has played a crucial role in executing key industry projects. Her journey in film distribution began in 2020 when she became Head of Operations at The World Stage Distribution Limited. In 2024, she joined Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution as Acting Head of Digital and Ancillary Distribution, spearheading digital content expansion and ensuring African films reach broader audiences through diverse platforms.
